Fesyen Pakaian

Bagi seorang mukminah solehah, fesyen pakaiannya BUKAN hal penting yang perlukan perhatian yang banyak, masa dan wang. 

- Yang penting baginya adalah KUALITI diri, ilmu yang padat & minda segar. 

- Pakaiannya cukup sekadar yang kemas bergosok dan rapi dengan warna sederhana. 

- Keyakinan dirinya TIDAK terletak pada ranggi pakaiannya. 

- Dia juga BUKAN hamba kepada fesyen dan kecantikan pakaian. 

- Dia Hamba Allah dan hatinya sentiasa ditumpu untuk diisi dan dibersihkan mencapai redha Allah.

- Justeru fesyen tudung, jubah, blaus, kain etc BUKAN bicara hidupnya & prioriti, itu semuanya sampingan sama sekali.

Namun tidak dinafikan ada muslimah yang belum jinak dengan agamanya (ISLAM), lalu diakui sebahagiannya MEMERLUKAN fesyen sebagai 'jambatan' ke alam hakiki & tulen, meninggalkan alam pura-pura yang terlebih fokus kepada 'bungkusan' sehingga melupakan isi.

Justeru bagi wanita seperti mereka, berfesyen masih BOLEH diterima JIKA 

- menepati syarat penutupan aurat 

- serta digayakan semata sebagai 'jambatan' untuk menuju yang sifat mukminah sebenar, 

- dan BUKAN untuk terus MENETAP di atas 'jambatan' tersebut selamanya, kerana ia BUKAN MATLAMAT & objektif kehidupan ini.

Perbelanjaan Keluarga

Setiap perbelanjaan anak itu ada nilainya di sisi Allah. Jangan mengungkit dan mengeluh tapi berbelanjalah dengan mengharap balasan Allah. 

Abu Hurairah radhiallahu 'anhu berkata bahawa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

دِيْنَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ فِي سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَدِيْنَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ فِي رَقَبَةٍ وَدِيْنَارٌ تَصَدَّقْتَ بِهِ عَلَى مِسْكِيْنٍ وَدِيْنَارٌ أَنْفَقْتَهُ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ، أَعْظَمُهَا أَجْرًا الَّذِي أَنْفَقْتَهُ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ

"Satu dinar yang engkau belanjakan di jalan Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, satu dinar yang engkau keluarkan untuk membebaskan hamba, satu dinar yang engkau sedekahkan kepada seorang miskin dan satu dinar yang engkau nafkahkan untuk keluargamu, maka yang paling besar pahalanya dari semua nafkah tersebut adalah satu dinar yang engkau nafkahkan untuk keluargamu." 

Restrain Your Hands From Injustice

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If you guarantee me six things on your part, I will guarantee you Paradise. Speak the truth when you talk, keep a promise when you make it, when you are trusted with something fulfill your trust, avoid sexual immorality, lower your gaze (in modesty), and restrain your hands from injustice."

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَن تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِن تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

What an amazingly loving daughter!

Wonderful, wonderful years and more InshaAllah. 

We had so much fun celebrating this special day together. The pictures don't do justice but I hope they would help make the memories last.

Salmon Soup

We all love the salmon head soup!!

I bought the head for RM11.90 hehe.

Yummy and healthy too.

The leftover tasted even better. I also deboned it and reheated with some rice vermicelli. Nothing wasted.

Latest research on effects of stress on children. Babies who experience stress in the womb develop symptoms of sensory processing issues. Fascinating insight into possibly the cause of autism and sensory processing disorder. Can the activated genes then be switched off with the right intervention while they are still babies and even possibly while they are still developing in the womb?

As to those who believe and work righteousness, verily We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed.

Lo! as for those who believe and do good works - Lo! We suffer not the reward of one whose work is goodly to be lost.

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds.

Pumpkin Snack

Alhamdulillah it's easy to feed Amira nutritious cheap food. Another introduction was well received: steamed pumpkin with brown sugar and cinnamon. The roasted version is tastier but would take longer to make.

Embraced Positivity

Momma, look at this!
What is that? Is that you?
Yes!

Some of the characteristics did describe her, some others still do, some never.
It's a mixed feelings for me that she recognizes that and accepts who she is, for now. We embrace her. I hope she and us are always positive about this.
