Happy Feet

Instead of getting a full-blown smart phone (wants), I decided to let my husband buy me an Asha 303, which fulfills my requirements for MMS (duh!) and having both keypad and touchscreen. The value-for-money phone also substitutes for my still camera and  video camera (I still sorely miss the HD flip - wonderful product killed by Cisco).

My work shoes were broken and I have been wearing the anniversary-present sandals to work. The sandals are fine, except that they don't look good with socks. So I wanted a pair of black, comfortable, quiet, no-bling-bling shoes that completely cover my toes. I found a perfect pair at a Scholl outlet. It was on sale too... but of course they did not have my size. Mind you, is 7 even an outrageous size..?

After stepping on what seemed to be a fresh pile of cat poop on day while rushing to get Umar from school and Maghrib was ending (where I got it splattered all over my legs and socks and skirt!!), I had to wash the sandals and I think that almost ruined them. So I searched high and low for the perfect shoes. Saw an outlet, saw the shoes, tried them and yes that's perfect but just need one size up... but was surprisingly disappointed again with the same answer (size 7 takde). That happened not once. I was not that stubborn either, as I did open my options to other shoes too, but.. not quite right.

Yesterday, at the 4th outlet, I got the same answer again. REALLY? So I was thinking maybe I should go ahead and order it, never mind the wait, as advised by my husband. But NO.

The salesman said, "Oh we have this size". He came with the box but there's only ONE shoe inside. The other one was on display.

No discount?

Oh well. I got my pair of perfect shoes!!!

Yay!

Alhamdulillah, Thank You Allah. Thank you for a husband that shops for shoes with me! :)

It's perfect shoes for my happy feet!
