Yesterday the kids were being nice when I was left at home, sick, with all of them by myself.
Umar massaged my back, and Amira helped watch Asmara in the living room while i was lying down in my bed with the door open so that i could see them.
Amira and Umar later put on their aprons (which i had hid away) and washed all the dishes. Then they wiped the table, picked up all toys from the floor, and swept it. (I normally have to yap at them many times before they finally clean up their own mess, if they even oblige.)
We had run out of dish soap but they did it anyway. The dishes was only still oily. So today when i was better i rewashed them, thanking Allah for the warm heart.
