Today I am back to the reality of the rush-hour traffic that I must face when I go to work.
It still took me by surprise. So last week was an extended year-end traffic break. Weeks of much lighter traffic lulled me into such comfort that I forgot how bad it normally is. Traffic was slow even a few kilometers BEFORE the infamous toll plaza, and that was already almost 9am. So this morning was indeed pretty bad. I hope it is still an exception rather than the rule for the rest of this year.
Anyway, still grateful for the easier weeks I enjoyed. Alhamdulillah it saved me a lot of time and stress and money (especially OT expenses).
